Das Rec Location
High Performance (HP)
This group is designed for swimmers pursuing high-level competition including Sectionals, Futures, NCSAs, and collegiate swimming opportunities. HP swimmers are aiming to final and score at high-level meets, qualify for Junior Nationals and other national-level competitions, and prepare for collegiate swimming environments.
Expectations:
- Commitment to all assigned practices, dryland sessions, and recovery protocols
- High accountability in training, competition, and team leadership
- Consistent pursuit of excellence in preparation and performance
Pricing:
$300 per month
Surge 1
This group is meant for swimmers ages 13-15 who are competing at top age-group levels or transitioning into senior-level competition. Swimmers in this group are aiming to final at age group or senior state meets. Swimmers at this level should be starting to achieve Sectional-level time standards. Surge 1 swimmers should be developing advanced pacing, race strategy, and technical application.
Expectations:
- Full commitment to practices and dryland training
- Consistent attendance and professional training habits
- Active engagement in goal setting and performance development

Platinum
Platinum is meant for swimmers 11 and over who are building consistency and preparing for higher training groups. Swimmers in this group are developing long-term athletic skills as they work towards STAGS and TAGS standards. The primary focus in this group is building training habits and consistency. These swimmers are also gaining competitive experience by regularly attending swim meets.
Expectations:
- Maintain consistent practice attendance
- Take responsibility for effort, recovery, and preparation
- Adapt to a more focused and competitive training environment

Gold
The Surge Gold group is for swimmers ages 8-10 who are preparing for championship-level age group competition, including STAGS and TAGS. These swimmers are developing complete IM skills, building race strategy, and increasing training consistency. Gold swimmers are working to qualify for STAGS or TAGS in at least one event.
Expectations:
- Attend 4-5 practices each week
- Compete in three or more meets per season
- Demonstrate accountability, consistency, and a strong work ethic
Price:
$175 per month
Silver
This group is meant for swimmers ages 8-10 with strong fundamentals who are ready for more structured training and racing. Swimmers at this level are continuing to improve technique across all four strokes. Silver swimmers should be learning to use the pace clock and follow interval-based sets. Swimmers in this group are beginning to race longer events such as the 100 freestyle and the 100 individual medley.
Expectations:
- Attend 3-5 practices each week
- Compete in 3-4 meets each season
- Demonstrate consistent effort, focus, and positive team behavior
Price:

Bronze
This group is meant for swimmers ages 7-9 who are new to year-round swimming and are ready to learn and develop all four competitive strokes. Throughout their time in this group, swimmers will be working to learn proper technique in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Bronze swimmers are beginning to race events such as the 100 freestyle and 50s of each stroke at USA Swimming meets. Swimmers are also learning to participate in more structured practice environments, and interval-based training is being introduced.
Expectations:
- Attend 3-4 practices per week
- Compete in 2-3 swim meets during the season
- Build confidence while engaging in a positive team experience

Davenport Location
Surge Sprint
This group is meant for swimmers in 7th grade or above who are looking to develop top-end speed and prepare for high school swimming. This group is ideal for athletes looking to improve their sprint performance, regardless of whether they currently compete for a high school team. Throughout their time in this group, swimmers will be working to develop explosive speed and power in all four strokes. The goal is to do this by improving starts, turns, underwater kicking, and relay exchanges and learn how speed, recovery, and quality training work together to improve racing. Swimmers in this group will have the opportunity to build confidence racing the 50 and 100 while maximizing sprint performance.
Expectations:
- Attend practices consistently and give maximum effort during sprint sets.
- Arrive prepared for dryland with athletic shoes
- Focus on quality over quantity by executing each repetition with purpose
- Bring a positive attitude and encourage teammates throughout practice

Surge Current
This group is meant for swimmers in 6th or 7th grade who are preparing for championship-level age group competition. Throughout their time in this group, swimmers will be working to qualify for STAGS in at least one event, while building race strategy and training consistency.

- Demonstrate accountability, consistency, and a strong work ethic

Surge Wave
This group is meant for swimmers in 4th or 5th grade who are ready for more structured training and racing. Throughout their time in this group, swimmers will be working to develop complete IM skills, learn to use the pace clock and swim interval-based sets, and begin racing longer events, including the 100 freestyle and 100 IM.
Expectations:
- Attend 3-5 practices per week
- Compete in 3-4 meets during the season
- Demonstrate consistent effort, focus, and positive team behaviors

Krueger Canyon Location
Day Group Training Program
This group is designed for families seeking a consistent daytime training option focused on skill development, confidence, and foundational swimming skills.
*This is not a learn-to-swim group and is intended for swimmers with prior swimming experience.
This group is designed primarily for:
- Swimmers 7-11 years old
- Homeschool families looking for structured daytime practice options
- Swimmers with prior USA Swimming or summer league team experience
Eligibility Notes:
Swimmers who have previously paricipated in Surge Aquatics or Landa Park Dolphins at the Can-Do group level or higher do not need to try out.
All swimmers must be able to:
- Swim a 50 freestyle
- Kick a 50 of all four strokes
Payment Options:
- One-time payment of $450
- Three 4-week payments of $165
